The purpose of my work is to help each individual enhance their performance, gain awareness of their potential, and surpass their limits. This is achieved by developing each client’s mental performance.
My personal approach to talent development focuses on one’s potential to grow within a discipline, and how this potential is cultivated. It can also be understood in terms of performance mastery and excellence in a domain.
Using evidence-based coaching methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Coaching, I accompany each client in elaborating solutions to the challenges they face. During the coaching process, I focus on each individual as a system of their own (called an “idiosyncratic” approach), in which I account for their personal and environmental factors at play in relation to their goals. By the end of the coaching process, the person will have developed the necessary skills to further advance in their discipline, and to regain their autonomy in pursuing their talent’s development.
The different services offered at Rising Talents provide various alternatives to best respond to each client’s individual needs. Some may only require a single coaching session to give them a little nudge into what steps to take next. Others might prefer having coaching sessions regularly to self-reflect and dive deeper into a challenge they face, growing mental skills and techniques to regain autonomy on the long-term. Then again, some might prefer receiving an elaborate, research-based intervention plan that provides concrete guidelines on how to tackle their situation, which will be implemented using coaching sessions. And if you are part of a sports club or artistic group, you can dive into mental training altogether during an interactive workshop!
